Yes, and one should be very wary of someone who speaks in absolutes.
That said, there IS a valid point to be made to highlight the inordinate success of modern physical theories. It's annoying when the only physics news is sensationalist psuedo-science "heresy" from those who don't even know what they're rebelling against.
