Unfortunately this website (and the cheat sheet here) seems to be motivated and evidenced at least in part by the speculative theories of the author so it is difficult for the layperson to determine what here is of value.

Yes, and one should be very wary of someone who speaks in absolutes.
That said, there IS a valid point to be made to highlight the inordinate success of modern physical theories. It's annoying when the only physics news is sensationalist psuedo-science "heresy" from those who don't even know what they're rebelling against. He makes a much more precise, and I think powerful, argument that we actually know quite a lot.
