Yes, you should underbid in the beginning, until you get a couple of jobs and good ratings.

I started a month ago, and was the hardest to get the first job. After that one, and good review from client, jobs started to come up more often.

So, keep trying, underbid in the beginning, and don't give up.

Thanks for the advice. Trying to get my first gig. :)

You need a guy, then you'll find time :) Seriously. You should go to parties, do crazy things, and get drunk sometimes with best friends. If you don't study, go to college. It will be the best part of your life.

Work will not run away anywhere. It will wait for you. So use your time wisely, you have only one life.

Most of the people work, so they can earn, so they can live good enough. I think that you, like many others, went off a little from that track.

Best wishes.

Great tips! Signed up already :)

Maybe you're right. If someone would keep blog focused only on his main topic.

People like reading about failures - Totally agree

Take anything from Fyodor Dostoyevsky.

Dostoyevsky is a great. Still haven't read The Brothers Karamazov.

Don't miss The Double. This was the book that Dostoevsky wrote after his early rock-star debut. It was widely hated at the time, and Dostoevsky found himself in the doghouse as quickly as he had been celebrated before, but it's fabulous—much better than that initial book and one of the best things he ever wrote.

Thanks for the update. For years I use this with Ctrl, never got a thought to try without.

Btw, on the wiki page I mentioned is also written that: Under graphical environments (such as GNOME or KDE) 'Alt'+'PrintScrn/SysRq'+key combination generally only leads to a screenshot being dumped. To avoid this Print Screen feature the magic SysRq combination should include the Ctrl, becoming 'Ctrl'+'Alt'+'SysRq'+key.

So I guess it depends from the environment.

Oh that one I didn't see, thanks. However, it makes me wonder why Gnome/KDE can "hijack" this key combination. I mean it is a bit strange for a userland application to be able to intercept kernel level features.

Thanks! I didn't know about this. I'll update my post as soon as I catch some time. If you want, leave me my your twitter username, so I can mention you :)

Thanks. I think that's a good idea.

I also thought about writing a longer and high quality blog posts which offer a lot of value for job seekers, and then promote the blog post via Facebook Ads.

I'm reading for about one hour per day, every day (rarely I skip a day), for the last 2 years. First year I completed 52, second year I completed 60 books.
