Shouldn't we wait until Swift is in production for us and we're not using a compiler still built for beta before we come up accusations like these? Swift may not end up being the greatest thing since sliced bread, but how about we get our hands on the production-ready build of it before we decide.



Apple posted a benchmark during the presentation. It was validated. They lied. Maybe they shouldn't boast about performance before releasing?


The tools they used to benchmark may not be the same ones we all got in the beta. Maybe our validations are the wrong data point.
