Cognitive dissonance isn't much of a problem. The problem is lack of education. You have to know about the ridiculous things the US does in order to experience cognitive dissonance.


I don't know about it, by personal experience I think americans have good education.

I'd hazard to say that the median american experiences a media echo chamber.

That's not special, all countries I lived in do that. But they usually don't delve too deep in doublespeak.
