I held out for a really long time on 10.6 but upgraded a few months ago after buying a new machine and it was a lot less painful than I'd imagined - worth a go, though, as always with OS X, a fresh install may ultimately be less painful than upgrading, even if it's time consuming.



Actually, my old Intel iMac at home can't even run Lion!

The main reason I always wait to upgrade is for kinks to be worked out in OS X ports of mainly-GNU/Linux software.
