Labview seems like a pain (I haven't used it), but I guess it's super useful for some uses. I recall SpaceX uses it for controlling launches. It comes with models for all manner of hardware.




NI has niche instrumentation product lines that have been around for some time.

Yet, the modern licensing model jettisoned a lot of their long time proponents. Like many things in life, most problems were non-technical in nature.

SpaceX is an interesting company, and it made some unique design choices. =3

It comes with device interfaces (not exactly drivers, but some times it has drivers too).


All right, I even never heard of Labview programming language, haha..

I really loved LabView

NI rarely made established software better after a company acquisition.

Generally, IT and Engineering agreed to deprecate their product lines off critical systems about 2 minutes after the deal went through. =3
