Nearly 900k Cars Sold: Toyota's Record July Proves Strategy Works (autoblog.com)

Hah damn they. They gave us 0% financing on 2 lightly used trucks, and healthy value for a banged up used 4Runner with 120k miles. It was a no brainer.

The problem for Toyota is that they have been absorbing the cost of the new tariffs (15%). It has affected their bottom line and has yet to be passed on to the American consumer. I suspect, like others have already pointed out on some of the blogs, that with the new model year approaching, Toyota vehicles will reflect a 15% increase. It will be easier to pass these tariffs onto consumers to avoid the ire of the Trump administration, since prices tend to rise with new model years.
