The Air is too big for me, but my iPad Mini + pencil is one of my favourite objects. I strictly use mine to draw, read and take notes, and it's excellent for that. It's great to have a nag-free device that's disconnected from your day-to-day notifications, but still connected to your cloud data in simple but useful ways.
This seems like just another iteration of that, but that's fine.
