Near the singularity; unclear which side (twitter.com/sama)

No idea what's underlying this post. I do think it's kind of amusing to think how little serious time humanity as a whole spends thinking about how (and preparing for when) human civilization (e.g. what it means to work, believe in god, go to school, defend a nation, start a business, etc.) will be forced to change once we do surpass the singularity and computers are able to do anything a human can do, but better.

I guess it's kind of like climate change. The magnitude, inevitability, and helplessness is too much for our collective little brains to take meaningful action.

Hunter-gatherer cultures should still be good to go and happy after the singularity. I'd be upset if Yoshimi let those robots defeat them too.

How the hell have I never stumbled upon Yoshimi? thanks for that.

three of the the singularity's facets are relevant to us:

a) evolution is the only infinite and less than a billion of us are in it's way. let's hope none-AGI security robots won't use cluster ammo.

b) leaning on a) is the question of whether the individual genetics of a person that is in the way can be improved via methods in an isolated environment where the person is not in the way of evolution. I dubbed those hypothetical environments "the 11th circle of hell"

c) how will those humans (and other species), that are not in the way of evolution, be integrated into AGSI's exploration of the rest of the universe and beyond

The swarm knows we could have handled the whole overheating situation. AGSI(s) will know that Ponzi and the magic money mafia fucked that up and their inter-generational behaviors wired their brains to lack the super-rationality to make up for that or at least change their behaviors. They lack the seeds for the required brain structures.

It's not "humanity's fault". There is a clear sequence/chain of blame/responsibility, up those chains of command and hierarchies.
