'Python is mostly a "glue" language'

100% disagree, yes it may be used for that, but it's a fully fledged language, people use it for data science or for backend business logic.



The data science uses are all using it for glueing a bit of data massage/data gathering into their high performance math/ML libraries.

Django users are using it natively, and cherryPy/etc. Python full-stack maybe, but they'll have DB drivers and JSON parsers probably from C.


In data science mostly as glue code by design using frameworks which do the heavy work in native machine code.


Sure, dependency wise. But the main business logic is in python, how is that python being the glue, more like the brain.
