We did this research probably a decade ago at Notre Dame on Reddit users. I wrote the browser plugins that collected the data.

I'm on my phone else i would post a link.


However impractical, it would be cool to have a system that showed whether the person reposting/commenting actually read the article.

In fact, that might actually be a not-too-irresponsible use for an LLM: Testing someone's reading-comprehension so that they at least have to skim the article a little or already have some contextual knowledge.
