Gave up white rice years ago, tried brown rice but then remembered barley! It has many health benefits, is easily digested (unlike brown rice) and 20 - 25% protein! https://www.nutritionadvance.com/barley-nutrition/


Whereas conventional rice has between 2 and 8 percent protein, this new rice has 16 percent protein. It can be produced without genetic engineering. It's also high in lysine, which is good for canker sores and skin issues. (Healing properties of lysine not mentioned in the article.)
