I have donated to them before they do a wonderful job of housing these guinea pigs.

It’s a real sham meta are lot more forthcoming with there support.

I honestly wish these guys the best in getting this sorted.

100s of animals depend on them.


Ihdeed - looks like their only hope for support from Meta is a post on HN getting the attention of their PR department.

My ex gf got 5 guinea pigs and you just have to love them. I miss them, but this post brought back some sweet memories.


IT would be nice for FB to at least explain the decision. I know the scale makes it daunting to actually treat users like humans, but it would still be nice.


The usual answer to that is that small websites who make far less money and have massively fewer resources managed to treat their users like humans. But, of course, Facebook users are not the customers (those are the advertisers) - here, the users are the product and it costs to provide product support.


I wonder if at some point support becomes good and effective again when AI bots are really outperforming human support people. Must be possible at some point I would say.
