Often times in creator-audience relationships (streaming is a perfect example for this) the audience is uninformed or joins the content stream late so they’re missing context from previous content. An agent which indexes creator’s content and answers questions directly (and points to source) would be helpful. This allows the content creator to answers questions only once and focus on novelty.
I can see this working pretty darn well in Twitch etc for mid to large streams. The interface is already text based. People want to "interact" but are content with very few drips direct from the streamer.
Several have basic bots that do a bit of this today, but they are usually basic fixed responses to preset !commands - like on IRC 20 years ago. Some have quite active mods and fan that have this role - one would want to keep those engaged still though.
