California has the space..and definitely the money..to build more shelters and housing. It’s just not going to be in Tier 1 cities and high income suburbs.
Really ..nothing is going to work out here unless we have a robust public transportation network.
The solution to housing crisis and housing affordability is public transport.
I saw brand new tents pop up right outside the public library and police station yesterday at a Bay Area city. And a group of people were taking photographs and instructing the tent inhabitants to pose.
Some of the homeless activists and non profits are going be jobless if there are no homeless people on the streets. They are not going to let this ‘ban’ stand.
California is just lost at this point. Entirely hijacked.
