Christopher Fuller, a former Honeywell engineer, developed a wireless power transmission technology that could revolutionize the way electric vehicles and airborne drones are charged. However, he fears the technology could also be used to create long-range directed energy weapons. Fuller claims Honeywell downplayed these risks to pursue commercial opportunities abroad, potentially violating U.S. export restrictions. After raising his concerns with the government, he alleges retaliation from Honeywell, leading him to file a whistleblower lawsuit. Honeywell denies the allegations and has asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed.

It would be more useful for humanity to have a commercial use first.
