I think they're referring to:

- The standard BART fleet

- eBART: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/EBART

- The Oakland Connector: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oakland_Airport_Connector

All of which use completely different and mutually incompatible rolling stock.
