tl;dr: the official video shows the Cybertruck beating the Porche at 1/8 mile marker but by extrapolating the 1/8 times of a Cybertruck, Porche and Cybertruck + Porche (6.94, 8.38, 8.25), the results would be 11.0, 11.5, 12.2 respectively.
I guess we'll just need to wait for someone to repeat the experiment to see if the 1/4 claim is still true. The basis of this experiment was to repeat a previous experiment where a Model X beat an Alfa Romeo 4C while towing a 4C: https://vimeo.com/253258542

We really don't since as the video also noted the cybertruck with porsche is already 1.3s slower to the 1/8th mile than a cybertruck without Porsche, so the absolute best time for the towing result is 12.3s 1/4 mile, well short of a base 911.
Also you got your times wrong. It's 12.2 for the 911 T with a manual transmission. The extrapolated cybertruck towing time was 12.8
11.0 for cybertruck, 11.5 for base model Porsche 911 (which is an automatic), 12.2 for 911 T (manual + lighter so easier to tow), 12.3 best case cybertruck towing time (assuming it did the second 1/8th mile as fast as the non-towing result), and 12.8 extrapolated
Musk is fucking nuts but he still is able to make other people do amazing things. He didn't need to lie multiple times about the Tesla truck to make it a success though...
That's the really curious thing: Model 3/Y is an objectively good EV. The software is vertically integrated and the most mature in the EV business, while VW has their CARIAD pants around their ankles. Why make wild claims about "Full Self Driving?"
I'll make a prediction about Starship: It will never be more economical than Falcon 9, and Mars colonies will not happen in this century and certainly not using Starship. A follow-on to Falcon 9 would have been more useful: A re-usable second stage, methalox engines, faster turnaround, etc.
If you are familiar with second system syndrome you might think Starship is a classic second system.
