That's the problem with this kind of logical fallacy. It distracts from the discussion, often by introducing a well-settled issue that's hard to disagree with. A company can do two things at once, and it should be possible to discuss one without discussing both. This is especially true when the alternative topic is (paraphrased) that Firefox could be a better browser. Do we really want to steal from a rare chance to talk about Common Voice and overwhelm it with a thread with everyone's pet peeve about their web browser?
