C-Diff is huge problem now and has been for a while.
If the immune system is weakened and the system develops this specific infection that person will experience a life changing event.
Medical professionals can tell that infection by the smell of the room.
I don't know what to do about it -

I don't find "was disputed" conclusive there. The trehalose stuff got into ice cream, then C. Diff. became a widespread problem. They took it out of most of them, and C. Diff died back down.
