Very neat. I just searched and if you have Verizon it's possible via <phonenumber>@vtexts.com don't put dashes in your phone number.

Not OP but, for a while you could email a message to 5559991212@verizon.net and it would send a text to the phone number 555-999-1212. Not sure if it still works that way though.
