I wonder how many articles, blogs, conferences, certifications, books, talks, soliloquies, consultants, etc. it will take to tell us we're all doing it wrong to make "Agile" and "Scrum" actually work.
Scrum works fine if you implement it by the book and then start tailoring slowly it based on team retros. Problem arises when PM or other manager goes rogue and starts implementing own ideas to scrum or just presures more stuff to sprint.
That’s part of my point. How many companies do I need to work for such that that works, because every company that has used Agile or Scrum say that exact thing about tailoring it to the team from some base level.
It seems to me that if everyone does it wrong, then it is not a good fit for how people actually work.
