SAP is like nicotine. It doesn't give you anything back, you start it because it looks like all of your friends are doing it. It stinks like hell, but you get used to it. And once you become a user, it is fucking hard to leave it.

nicotine actually stimulates your acetylcholine receptors, making it a mild nootropic and can be taken in non-smelly ways (patches, gum, etc).
