The website that contains every book ever written (medium.com/the-pub)

I am very tired of seeing this BS story. The site does not contain any writing. It runs an algorithm that reassembles the inputs you give it into references to lists of characters. To say that the site "contains" your writing is to say that the alphabet contains your writing because "every story can be made from it."

The story even starts out by saying that your writing was not stored -- because there isn't even a fraction of enough storage for that. Yet it goes on to imply that magically your writing exists there, possibly even violating copyright.

The idea of an algorithmic text parser surreptitiously publishing your valuable writing is akin to believing in the Mechanical Turk. Please stop promoting this.
