1) Seeing more and more articles about how we're currently in the "last hurrah" days of the US crypto-fascist right, and their increase of ever-more drastic and inflammatory rhetoric is just a symptom of that.
2) The horrific dismantling of Roe v. Wade might galvanize enough folks to flip historically Conservative "safe seats" and get a veto-proof House & Senate. Not holding my breath on that one tho.
3) Apple's upcoming, actually-new products (AR/VR thing, and the car)
I think I have a realistic chance of paying off my mortgage in the next 18 months. I'm excited about that prospect, but it's a tough one to be excited about, because it's such a slow grind that I can only really make progress on once a month.
Once that's done, I'm excited about the trip I'm going to take to celebrate (still undecided) and getting new windows (the current ones are trash).
