Now would probably be a great time to strike for China though. Ukraine aid has emptied military stockpiles (no idea if that stuff was useful to our military or just surplus, but there's probably not many extra weapons lying around to arm Taiwan with), inflation and economic troubles have the US domestic situation shaky, and morale is dropping, making support for a war to defend Taiwan unlikely.

Now this is the sort of news that I hope is fake and will shed 50 seconds off of the doomsday clock if true.
