Also find it ridiculous they published their screed on Medium, one of the most text unfriendly websites around. The US Digital Web Design System has one of the best, easy to understand discussions of color and contrast and I always share it with as many designers as I can: https://designsystem.digital.gov/design-tokens/color/overvie... Color and accessibility are closely linked and I wish more people would be far more practical and less fashionable about it.
