Is this meant to be sarcasm? The entire site has gray text on a purple background. Sometimes the text is even a light purple still on a purple background.
The author, bound as you may know to the choice of the publisher, advocated for readability so that people could be encouraged to arrive at least to the actual first paragraph of text.
