All the scary stuff that can go catastrophically long is within the next 40 days or so. However it'll take months to go through the calibration process, tweak the mirror positions, check out optics, etc



Yea, I'm having trouble finding a detailed schedule, but it looks like the main mechanical components are all deployed in the first 15 days

After that they still need to a do a ton of checks, wait for outgassing, etc. The first "science-quality images" are expected by the end of the third month.
