Elm is interesting, though it's developer is a bit polarizing Also there are a host of nascent Rust/WASM frameworks starting to pop up. They really like the tree puns. There is Yew, Sycamore and Seed.

That's still all web tech, though. Druid and Iced look more interesting, as they are general UI frameworks which lets you build both web and desktop apps without dealing with HTML or CSS.
