I tend to assume that "pack in" products like XD are shovelware.
That is, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere are all excellent if not best-of-breed solutions. It is the same with Microsoft and Windows, Office and Visual Studio.
Companies with that kind of bundling strategy are always trying to slip new things into the bundle. Because they are relying on the power of the bundle, they never use quality as a marketing tool. So you know anything new added to the bundle will be crap and probably beneath contempt.
