Using an exchange has nothing to do with paying CGT or equivalent. You can calculate your taxes on transactions / swaps in private wallets too.

It's not nobody, otherwise services like
https://koinly.io/
and similar wouldn't exist with support for private wallets, uniswap handling, etc. Unless you can provide some proof for that claim, please don't generalise.
