Your example that Republicans are the big tent party doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. All those groups venn together a lot. Tell me how well LGBT, Muslim, Jew, Union blue collar, Black, Hispanic, costal elite, youth, and big tech get along if you lock them in a room together if all you have is “at least we aren’t Republicans!”.
