Kind of? I think you're supposed to be able to identify flow rates and limiting factors and back out numerical / quantitative advice.


It is better thought of as zooming out to see more entities and how they work together.

You can dig deep into this stuff, I find it fascinating to see what others may not see through an understanding of how to visualize the problem as a system within a system.


Systems thinking is to strategy as reductionism is to tactics. It's about holism.
