Thankfully iOS 15 Private Relay Feature allows us migrate this without having to depend on Third Party VPNs. And since MangaDex is a PWA that runs on Safari, it can benefit from this in “app” form.

I am actually very curious about what will happen with situations like Private Relay and court ordered blocks to piracy sites in many territories.

I find it weird that people actually depends on non-essential pirated content like this at all. I'm not even talking about pirated Windows or Office copies, it's a -pirated comics- or -pirated manga-. What the hell with these people. Why don't they support people that relased comics under Creative Commons license so they could torrent it all day and night without feeling guilty at all?

I’m a bit confused by this comment. For One thing , comics accessibility != manga accessibility. I have more means of reading DC and Marvel comics than I do reading non-shonen jump manga and non-WEBTOON Webtoons. The biggest barrier being that most manga have to be translated to the majority language in NA while comics do not. This often leaves a gap between where English readers are Japanese/Korean readers are. While They are making strides towards closing this gap (Shonen Jump App & Webtoons App) there’s still hundreds of literature that don’t receive this treatment and require per volume purchases instead of Netflix Style curation.

Some Manga has not closed its hole to connivence it is pirated by services like these.

My earlier comment still applies. It's a copyrighted content, period. Modification and Distribution required prior approval from copyright holder. Had the manga been released in Creative Common license, you could make derivative content like translating it and distribute it, even torrent it as your heart wished.

Do not get sad when your favorite piracy sites getting blocked. They are just complying the laws.
