This is certainly a clever hack. But it makes things cheaper and easier for the website owner at the expense of the users. This kind of solution will add to the bloat that is making the web unusable enough that people are seriously proposing a remote browser as a solution for desktop users (remember Mighty the other day?). We shouldn't let the cleverness distract us from this drawback.
