I did not read the article. But I am completely done with these kind of headlines. Scientists have apparently solved all kinds of momentous problems. It doesn’t matter unless I see it at my local drug store or doctor. That’s it. I’m not paying attention unless it’s tangible.

Reminds me of the headline where the scientist attached tags of some sort for the immune system to latch onto in order to kill cancer and it helped a bunch of people-then we never heard anything again

What you describe sounds like Monoclonal antibodies which are currently one treatment for some kinds of cancers.

But the wider implications for site dependant vaccine administration are interesting.

Some people are more prone to uti and get it pretty regularly. At that point, I'd be up for an injection into bladder.
