Wikipedia is great when you already know a math topic and just need to look something up, but is terrible at teaching math. Generally the level of abstraction is too high and too general for a first introduction to a topic.


I find that sometimes even when I'm familiar with a topic, it ends up being a bad reference. This is especially true when they start introducing variables and constants that haven't even been defined.
