I sent you something a few days ago. I think I'd be a particularly good match and I'm pretty passionate about search. (For instance, as I type this I'm about a week into a distributed task of OCRing 650GB of scans of old scientific literature so I can do some fuzzy matching on it and build a cross-referencing system for some project I'm working on - this is purely out of personal interest and running in my living room). I do things like this because I find the existing search tools to achieve what I'd like to be inadequate.

Also as I write this I'm listening to a music crawler I've built that tries to navigate and cross-reference through currently 260 music labels and about 12,000 releases in order for me to find new music (using discogs, bandcamp, etc). This is just running on my laptop. Again, I've found the current music discovery systems inadequate to my desires so I built my own.

I don't know how to stand out from the pile. My username on here is part of the email I gave you. Hopefully if you can find what I wrote you'll agree. I hope to hear from you soon.
