As I understand it, a regular VPN will mask your IP so you can tell very easily if you’re protected by checking your externally reported IP. How would you know with WARP?

It uses "connect on demand", at least on iOS, so iOS will block all traffic that doesn't go through the VPN (other than a few iOS services iirc).
