I see where you're coming from, but I think it's the attitude of the developer that's more important. I've learned a good deal of Bash from places like SO, but I've always tried to learn why the command is like that, and I've found other sources more useful than man. If someone is the kind of developer who blindly copies and pastes chunks of code from SO then there are bigger problems than not using man.
