It's actually pretty frustrating to have written a little summary of what likely happened WITH SOURCES, that a lead car changed lanes and confused the AES system, only to have people ignore it.

None of the tests in that reference were done at highway speeds. AIUI, handling stationary objects with radar is easier at slower speeds.

Super interesting to see that Subaru is doing emergency breaking with cameras, though. Seems I'm a couple of years out of the loop.
