Oh, totally. Every young engineer's dream is to live in Poughkeepsie!


I'm a young engineer, I live up there. It's a very pleasant area to live out your life. Not everyone wants the pace of a big city.


How's the dating scene, if you don't mind my asking?


I wouldn't really know. I married my college sweetheart.


Then it makes sense. For engineers with families, a quiet little town where you can buy a house and the crime is low sounds pretty good.

As a young, single engineer, I won't move there no matter how much they pay me.


I didn't say that the dating scene was bad. I said that I didn't know what it was like. Realistically, it's probably a lot better than Silicon Valley.


But nowhere near as good as a decent city like LA.
