what are the reasons for disabling memory and disk cache, and lowering dns caching?




timing attacks, maybe? a script could make a request and measure the response time to heuristically determine whether a given resource is cached locally.


I assume the less data your browser stores about your browsing history, the better your privacy is (at least in terms of someone snooping around your computer applications to determine your day-to-day behaviour)
