Groan. Instead of a rising tide lifting all boats... some devs insist on being divers. Nobody is turning down amazing specialists, but if you aren't a 90th percentile specialist you should probably know a little of everything.
Knowing a little of everything is good, knowing a lot of everything is unreasonable. Sure there are those amazing people but expecting everyone to be them is crazy.
