The problem with quasi-monopolies like Amazon is that they lose any pressure to behave properly. Issues like this should encourage people to look at Amazon alternatives. I'd be happy to pay a bit more and wait a bit longer for goods if I'm able to make sure that I'm buying legitimate products and not counterfeits.
