This is not a realm I have expertise in so this is maybe a silly question, but warrants and such are to the best of my knowledge required to search rental properties.

Could tech companies increase their ability to protect user data from warrantless subpoenas and such by structuring their terms of service like a residential rental agreement? Or do rental properties have a special status, or would structuring TOS in that way otherwise negatively impact the business?
