I'd suggest also taking into account the amount of measuring itself - there likely is a correlation between stress levels and the amount of "measuring" a programmer has to endure.

I used RescueTime for some time, you can forget about it after a while. But if someone else is seeing your stats, it might feel pretty stiffy.
