I closed up my shop because I lost my co-founder who was design/sales to my biz/back-end. I can't pass a background check (see post history), but that's usually not an issue these days. I'd be grateful for anything and everything that I can help you with, because bills are stacking up and my mom isn't well. She's my number 1.

^ Regarding relocation, under certain circumstances I would move to the San Francisco Bay area. Perhaps after a few weeks of remote work if everything was working out on both ends. This can be discussed further.
For the past year, since graduating in May 2015, I've worked as a mostly-backend software developer in the Java domain. I recently took it upon myself to move to San Francisco to be a part of the excellent tech culture this place is known for. At my last job I contributed a handful of features that used directed graphs, depth first search, and memoization at their core. I'm a passionate programmer and quick learner.
I have meaningful full-stack development experience but my focus is on the front-end. My body of work includes a web game which recently went viral (http://www.flexboxdefense.com), becoming the #1 game on producthunt.com and receiving unsolicited praise from several distinguished voices in the developer community, like Smashing Magazine and CSS-Tricks.com.
I'm a fullstack software developer with 10 year experience, living in between France and China (theses days mostly China). I am deeply passionate about solving real world problems with the cleanest and the simplest possible code. I am currently looking for a steady remote work, ideally a development studio.
I'm looking primarily for back-end engineering positions locally in SF or the East Bay. I can't really consider South Bay or the Peninsula at this time due to lack of public transportation options, but would consider relocation if there was an absurd amount of money involved. I have 3 years professional software experience.
I'm a DevOps Consultant and Automation Engineer with over 10 years of experience automating development and deployment pipelines. I work with Puppet, Chef and Ansible (Latter preferred) as well as Jenkins, Teamcity and TravisCI/CircleCI.
My background is cross platform with experience in Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL) as well as Windows. I believe in a holistic DevOps approach that utilizes training and coaching in addition to technical solutions to achieve greater efficiency.

Technologies: iOS development in Obj-C/Swift; Web Development; Rails
I've worked for companies large and (really) small, building great experiences with Auto Layout and custom controls. I was also a frontend developer for many years, working on majorly trafficked sites like the www.paypal.com homepage.
Over my seven year career I've worked on a number of platforms in both an individual contributor and architect/team lead role. I concentrate on the back end, designing and writing APIs and integrations with other systems.
I'm a primarily front end developer with a focus on usability and pushing the limits of the browser, both in terms of functionality and performance (I like to dive into the Firefox source code or the spec). I also like thinking about product development and strategy, occasionally.
Resume/Technologies: PhD in machine learning (completion: July 2016, institution: University of Oxford), concentrating on fast approximations to Gaussian processes and Bayesian optimisation.
I have written lots of C++ (11 and up :p ) and Python, and consider myself nearly idiomatic in them. I can read and write CUDA, MATLAB, JS and a bunch of other languages.
I'm interested in doing ML on resource constrained devices: smartphones, IOT, etc.
Hi! I'm a polyglot developer from the UK currently based in Taiwan. I've worked with various languages and platforms, all the way from J2SE/J2ME through to Drupal, Django and most recently Express, Angular and React. Hi, I’m Neil. I’ve been developing Android and iOS apps for five years. I’ve worked with everyone from very small startups to Fortune 500 companies. I’m used to working closely with designers, server-side developers, product owners and other key stakeholders to deliver great apps.
I love working on greenfield projects and building on existing products. I’ve been heavily involved in turning apps from prototypes into production-quality software, and have also been solely responsible for designing and building new applications from the ground up.
I currently have 10-15 hours per week free in my schedule, and am looking to take on a freelance project.
Technologies: Focuses on leveraging emerging technologies and how they can enable new, profound enhancements to user experiences as well as improvements to technical operations. This includes computer vision, machine learning, cloud computing (in terms of operating at a scale that otherwise would have been impossible), location-aware technology, graph databases like neo4j and titan, and large-scale information retrieval.
I am looking for opportunities that leverage my passion for building great products and services, value a hands-on approach to design and use of emerging technology, and build upon my success in helping teams embrace and foster innovation and creativity.
I have over fifteen years of hands-on experience in driving design-driven innovation, delivery of large-scale technology initiatives, and identification of new opportunities for growth and sustainable value. I have been regarded as a thought leader in enterprise technology, product innovation, problem solving, and design thinking.

I do custom electronics, robotics, and embedded software development - I specialize in quickly turning ideas into prototypes. I've built custom automation equipment for chemistry labs, sensors that are in use in household/utility applications, control circuitry for construction equipment, 3d printing electronics, data acquisition equipment. No project too small. Few projects too large. Deep discounts for open source hardware work.
I would also be happy to come over (anywhere in Europe) and teach any of the above skills to a small group of interested people. I've taught courses in electronic assembly (SMD), 3d printing (building/using printers, iterative 3d model design using programming) and robot design and construction. I've taught courses at several universities, hackspaces, and conferences.
I'm looking for a full-time internship in the Bay Area from August 2016 to July 2017, where I'll be on a J-2 visa, studying part time at Stanford.
My demonstrated strengths are mainly data-related (I was the first member of the Data Team at a startup funded by Sequoia, Eduardo Saverin, et al. It's doing really well, but I'm heading to SF because... Why not!), but I'm more than willing to try on different roles, including client-facing work, depending on what your company needs from an intern. If you need someone who can build a quick temporary web-app, prepare and deliver presentations, quickly pre-process data in Excel, and then do Starbucks runs on the way back to the office, I'd love to work for you!
I am a builder of stuff, and a survivor. From grey-hat SEO, to making table-layout sites in Dreamweaver, to trying to emulate double-binding with jQuery before Angular was around, and selling 10k licenses of my personal project in 2+ years - I have done everything, and learnt my lessons.

I'm a product-oriented UX researcher, PhD, favoring work with users (ethnographic-oriented methods such as job shadowing, contextual interviews). I can help you gather valuable and valid insight regarding your potential users and turn it into actionable requirements and improvements. If you want to make sure you're creating a product for real users and their real needs, I'd be very happy to help. Currently most of my job is front-end web development (8 years experience, currently working in a large-ish Angular application interacting with a M2M/IoT solution).
I’ve spent 5 years working within the Technology industry, focusing on Startups and Venture Fundraising.
As of late, I supported and contributed features to two Ruby on Rails applications. My role was a midpoint between the Engineering and Customer Success. I was able to contribute to both our internal tools and the customer applications between support tasks.
My first major project was to build a navigation page that each of our users visited upon logging into our application. Making use of SASS, JavaScript, Rails, and Ruby this page directed users to distinct services our suite of products offered.
I’ve enjoyed my work with Rails. Currently, I’m exploring modern JavaScript frameworks, including forays into Ember and the MEAN stack.
I excel while I continue to learn as part of a tight-knit community. I am searching for a team with these core tenets. A team invested in my growth as a programmer. Supporting my desire to contribute to my local tech community. All while I work to improve the quality of our codebase, docs, and workflows.

Background: I am a self-taught, full-stack developer who has built, designed, tested, and deployed several large-scale applications for hedge funds and investment banks. I always try to follow software development best practices and use the most powerful tools available. Since my educational background is in finance, I can easily translate business requirements into technical specifications, and have the knowledge and experience to take projects from an idea to a fully-functional system. On the side, I am currently experimenting with Go.
I'm looking to move to a company where technology is the primary profit driver. I want to work with a team of highly motivated individuals on challenging problems.
Experience: I have 3 years of experience with Full Stack Development. I have interned at 3 startups where my work involved working with various web technologies. Currently I am working on weekends as a Teaching Assistant, teaching and mentoring students about Data Structures, Algorithms and OOP concepts.
I am an open source fan and contributed to many open source projects
.
I have a bias towards organisations working on education and/or core technology based ideas.
* Wingify/Visual Website Optimizer(http://vwo.com/): I interned at VWO and shipped integrations of VWO with Prestashop, Google Anlaytics and Call Tracking Metrics.
* MyPoolin(https://mypoolin.com/): Designed and implemented the backend REST API for MyPoolin's android app.
We are a small software development shop based out of downtown Minneapolis. We do everything from robots to websites to investment algorithms to mobile apps to interactive art installations. Whatever your project, we can build it.
We also offer both short term software development and project management contract work if you already have a development team but need another person to help you push through a tight schedule.
Our ethos is facilitating art through code and helping to build a better community. Because of this we offer discounts for non-profit organizations and "starving artists".
I am a recent business graduate and self-taught developer looking for entry level work. My business degree was heavily case based and thus I work well in teams and I am a great communicator. I was also the technical co-founder on a startup focused on agri-tech and developed the backend for the product written in java, as well as an android app to go with it. This required some security level work as well, mainly HMAC authentication. I really like building products and I am looking for an opportunity to demonstrate it.

I'm primarily looking for part-time or contract work.
I spent the last two years building compilers and relational databases at Eve (http://witheve.com/).
Before that I spent several years consulting. Some highlights:
Item-item article recommendations for Springer users based on ~600m past downloads. Uses locality-sensitive hashing and external sorting to run on a single low-powered server. https://github.com/jamii/springer-recommendations
Built a prototype replacement for the core trading engine at the Smarkets betting exchange: 10x less code, 40x better throughput, 10x better 99% latency.
Built a LaTeX aware search engine to power latexsearch.com. Covers the entire Springer library – more than 8m LaTeX equations. Searches by tree-edit distance on compressed syntax trees, using suffix arrays as a first-pass filter. https://github.com/jamii/texsearch
BBA 2014 Marketing & Information Systems Ops MGMT, liberal arts background @Emory U.
Highlights from my first two years out of college:
1 year SaaS selling & Product marketing experience across 2 great companies
2 months in DC on a Governors race for the midterms and 3 months selling Traditional Chinese Medicine when I first moved out West to San Jose. Hope that helps!
I love problem solving, teaching, learning and writing code. I'm looking for a full-time position or an internship starting immediately. If the opportunity is right, I'm definitely willing to consider an unpaid stint at a tech startup in the Greater New York area to gain some experience. Please email me if you see a match!

Technologies: I am a business major studying Accounting and Economics. I graduate in May. Interested especially in startup roles in finance/accounting/operations.
We have open positions for Backend (PHP, Node.js) and Frontend (Javascript) engineers.
We bootstrapped the company passed $1M in annual recurring revenue, then raised a seed round from some great investors, including Google Ventures and Mark Cuban!
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We know when to work hard and when to play hard (see some pictures on our website [1]) and we work on very interesting problems.
If you're interested please email Katrina at katrina@datanyze.com!
I'm a strong developer with a lot of experience, especially with JS and Web technologies. I've worked everywhere from tiny startups up to huge megacorps and also run my own business before.
I currently work remote for IBM on the Watson team, doing mostly developer experience work (SDKs, demos, example code, etc.) + some internal tooling work to automate various processes.
The Watson group has a new manager that wants everyone to move to a small handful of cities, and I'm not in a good position to do that at the moment. I've requested an exception, but if that gets denied, then I'll be moving on to a new position.
There are a couple of other managers outside of the Watson group that want to hire me already, so there's not much chance that I'll actually be unemployed, but I thought this may be a good opportunity to look around and see what else is available.
Things I'm good at and enjoy doing:
* JavaScript: This is kind of my specialty - I've been writing AJAX-driven web apps since before jQuery even existed, and working with Node.js since v0.2.
* Developer Experience / API design and development: essentially UI and UX for developers :) I have a lot of experience here.
* Automation: I'm a big fan of Continuous Integration & Deployment, which essentially means I'm good at writing unit tests, integration tests, etc. I also like to automate business processes to speed things along.
* Open Source: I like doing Open Source work, and I believe that there is often significant value to be gained by releasing certain components of your codebase.
* IoT: I'm not really an expert here, but I've done a few projects with Arduino, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, etc. and had a lot of fun.
If this sounds like it may be a good fit for your business, please get in touch. I might just be the purple unicorn that you've been looking for ;)

On a side note, my cat is almost 20 years old. Can you imagine that? Here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/hVdZpMh.png
